Casio Divers Watch - Surprisingly Cheap, Surprisingly Good Value
If you are from the school of understanding that diving watches have to cost an arm and a leg, you have not considered a Casio dive watch. A Casio watch is not only incredibly affordable, with most of the watchmaker's diving timepieces available from nearby fifty to one-fifty dollars, they are solid, functional and look as good as a more high-priced diving watch. What's more, Casio diver watches come bundled with a similar array of features. The bezel is crammed with information and a curved mineral dial window gives users with the perception of a flat, deep-set front when below the ocean surface.
The watch illumination theory possesses a dual color luminous paint - green on the watch hands, blue for hour markers - enabling a wearer to register dive readings even when available light is non existent. While the luminous tips of the Casio dive watch have a slight lifespan in comparison to more high-priced diving watches, the suited dual Led of the Casio can be used as a backup and frames a dramatic "flash-light" onto the watch front at both 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock. When you depress the button placed at the two o'clock position, the full face of the watch is flooded with light and for three seconds.
Casio Watches
Most Casio diving watches are rated to depths of between one hundred and two hundred meters (three thirty to six sixty feet) development them excellent for all activities in and nearby the water such as snorkeling, swimming and recreational diving.
While Casio watches are ideally suited to salt water pursuits, you should be truthful with hot water when you wash the dishes, take a shower or have a bath, as hot water can damage the protective seals.
Despite its good quality, Casio diving watches do suffer one minor shortcoming. Some wearers have complained that, the wrist band is the sole component of a Casio that can be regarded as the "achilles heel" of these watches. Casio watch bands are reported to be rigid, spongy and awkward to wear. The band has a short life expectancy and one should expect to replace it soon after you start wearing the watch. Some customers have reported no such issues however.
Other wearers have fixed the band issue by swapping their Casio strap with a velcro Timex Expedition adjustable 16-20mm watch band. This band is made for Timex Expedition watches and displays the word "Timex", but it may work out to be a more favorable fit.
Should you decide to exchange straps, it is a uncomplicated matter of popping out the Casio strap, pulling out the Casio springs, then attaching the Timex strap and springs. This basic job takes about three minutes of your time and can be done at home without visiting a master watch or jewelry shop.
Contrary to beloved opinion, Casio dive watches offer exceptional value to those looking for low priced diving watch. For professional diving ventures, it is still worth looking a few extra hundred (or thousand) more dollars for a a professional grade watch. These are no Tag Heurer's or Victorinox's, but at a mere fraction of the cost a Casio dive watch is a practical option for beginners or amateurs just looking to get started, seeking backup watch, or on a budget.

Casio has been manufacture reliable watches since I can remember. They were one of the first clubs to make digital watches and they have evolved and changed with technology.
Casio offers watches for just about anyone and everything. They have a full line of watches that will let you know what the current tide is. This is ideal for surfers, fisherman and boaters. I love Casio products because they for real do what they say and they are more than reliable and I have experienced that first hand.
Casio Watches
When I was younger I had a digital watch made by Casio. It was a G Shock model. The key selling point was that this digital watch was waterproof and approximately indestructible. I had been straight through quite a few watches already and the G Shock sounded like the exquisite match. There was a industrial for it where it was used in place of a puck in a hockey game and it survived.
I wore this watch on my left arm and it survived a near fatal car crash. I was in a head on collision where I was hit by other car that was going over 120 mph! If it was not for my age I would have been killed. My left arm was badly broken. It had been broken in over five places and my whole forearm bone had been shattered. It had to be surgically repaired. I was wearing my Casio watch on my left arm when I was in this car wreck and after I healed, I asked my parents where it was. They did not know, so I found what was left of my car from the accident and looked for my watch. I found it under the seat. The band had broken but the watch worked fine. It survived when my arm approximately did not! Casio makes watches that you can depend on!

The round watch case has a raised bezel that frames the silvery blue dial, which includes a full Arabic numeral display and luminous dagger-style hands. You can also store short notes on the 30-page databank (with 8 letters and 6 numerals per page).
The watch includes a stopwatch that can time events down to 1/100 of a second, and features a 24-hour capacity, split time, and 1st-2nd place times, as well as a countdown timer with a 24-hour capacity. Other timekeeping features include four daily alarms (with one snooze alarm), hourly time signal (which can be turned off), and 12/24-hour formats. This watch also offers a ±30-second accuracy per month, Afterglow backlighting, Auto Calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2039), and water resistance to 165 feet (50 M) -- offering protection from accidental splashes as well suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and light recreational diving. It has a battery life of up to 10 years.
